This category is open to any human-sized single miniature on foot from the Warhammer universe, displayed on a base up to 40 x 40 mm.
Single miniatures from the Blood Bowl and Mordheim ranges fall in this category.

Category 2 : 28 mm scale
Warhammer 40,000 Single Miniature
This category is open to any human-sized single miniature on foot from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, displayed on a round base up to 40 mm.
Single miniatures from other science-fiction ranges such as Necromunda fall in this category.
Category 3 : 25 mm scale
Lord of the Rings Miniature
A single miniature (human size on foot or mounted, monster, war machine…) on its original base from the Lord of the Rings range (see the rules of competition for other restrictions in this category).
For example : Aragorn, a Nazgûl, a Cave Troll, a Balrog… See the competition rules for more details on this category.

Category 4 : 28 mm scale
Monster or Rider
This category is open to all monsters and riders of the Warhammer world, displayed on a base up to 80 x 80 mm.
For example, a Troll, a Dragon (with or without a rider), a Giant, or a Bretonnian Knight fall in this category.
or…
A monster or a biker from the Warhammer 40,000 universe, displayed on a base up to 80 mm in diameter.
For example, an Eldar Avatar, a Krootox, a Carnifex, single-seater Bikes and Jetbikes.

Category 5 : 28 mm scale
War machine or Vehicle
This includes any war machine, complete with crew, from the Warhammer world. A display base is allowed, but it may not exceed 200 x 200 mm.
Examples : Skaven Screaming Bell (without its regiment), Goblin Wolf Chariot, Elf Bolt Thrower.

A vehicle from the Warhammer 40,000 universe with its crew (without transported troops). A display base is allowed, but it may not exceed 200 x 200 mm.

Category 6 : 28 mm scale
Regiment or Squad
A valid Warhammer regiment rule-wise (i.e. including at least the minimum number of miniatures, and following the requirements of its army list). All the miniatures must be mounted on appropriate gaming bases (20 x 20 mm, 25 x 25 mm, 25 x 50 mm, 40 x 40 mm, no regiment slottabases). A display base for the unit is allowed if it is no bigger than 200 x 200 mm, and as long as each miniature remains removable.
Mordheim warbands and Blood Bowl teams fall in this category.
or...
A Warhammer 40,000 squad including at least the minimum number of miniatures as requested by the corresponding Codex and following the regulations of army list. All the miniatures must be mounted on appropriate gaming bases (25 mm, 40 mm or 60 mm in diameter, or flying bases). A display base for the unit is allowed if it is no bigger than 200 x 200 mm, and as long as each miniature remains removable.
Necromunda and GorkaMorka gangs fall in this category.

Category 7 : 25 & 28 mm scale
Diorama
Any diorama with at least two miniatures from the Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, or the Lord of the Rings worlds (See the competition rules for more details on this category), measuring up to 300 x 300 mm, can be entered.
Dioramas based on our Specialist Games such as Necromunda, Gorkamorka, Blood Bowl, or Mordheim fall in this category.

Category 8 : any scale Open
Any work inspired by the Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000 backgrounds, and not falling in the previous categories.
For example : life-size replicas, Inquisitor miniatures and dioramas, Forge World Busts, Showcase & Collector series, Battlefleet Gothic space battles, Warmaster battles, fully scratchbuilt miniatures, and Games Workshop Staff entries.

Painters under 15 years of age
A single miniature on foot from the Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000 universe, or the Lord of the Rings range, mounted on its original base.
